2023 was another spectacular season and year’s end for small businesses and visitors of the Downtown Holiday Market.  Now marking our twentieth year of the most spectacular outdoor shopping environments in the region, we proudly present our most elevated and significant production yet.   

This year the DC Holiday Market (DCHM) will operate for 37 days and will have 6 weekend dates.  

Opening on Friday, November 15, it will run continuously through Monday, December 23 (closed Thanksgiving Day Nov 28 and Monday Dec 2). Hours will be from Noon to 8 p.m. each day.

The market is held in the vibrant Penn Quarter neighborhood in Downtown DC with the Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture as its backdrop on a closed F Street, stretching from 7th to 9th Streets NW, providing ample space to accommodate vendors and customers. Both ends of the market are within view of entrances to the Gallery Place Metro. Adjacent to the market are the Hotel Monaco and Hotel Riggs, the Capital One Arena and many restaurants and entertainment venues along the corridor.

With spacious shopping aisles a focus on local small businesses, safe and enjoyable gift shopping and holiday spirit in the heart of the Nation's Capital, The DC Holiday Market will host over 75 of the best and beloved artists, crafters, and small businesses in the region and beyond.  

The market comfortably welcomes tens of thousands of visitors to Downtown DC to be part of this annual holiday tradition.  

The event has experienced year-over-year growth in stature, sales numbers and customer attendance, and continues to greatly exceed all expectations. Our previous strengths in foot traffic from sporting events, evening diners, regional shoppers, hotels, and tourists are expected to return. City residents and regional communities continue to come to shop for the holidays, to support small businesses and shop in a festive atmosphere. This world-class event is the leading holiday activity in the area and is rated among the top holiday markets in the country. As always, the event will be promoted by media partners and a considerable PR campaign.             


The event continues to be a juried, high-quality crafts and gift market featuring a diverse display from exhibitors of many types of merchandise, as well as prepared food and beverage vendors. The Market will accommodate 90 exhibitor booths in 2 segments of participation.   

Creation of an exceptional booth design to enhance appeal as a “storefront” business will be required. As always, all exhibitors benefit from excellent amenities: 10' x 10' space sheltered under high peak tent structures with raised ground covering, side walls and closable front. Electricity is provided to accommodate additional display lighting. Friendly and accommodating staff to help booth-sit. A loading area is available at the curbside of the Market adjacent to market booths. Off-site parking is included in the space fee.   

Participation will be limited to 3 options: 
First Half (16 days), Second Half (21 days), and Full Show. 

First Half (Friday Nov 15- Sunday Dec 1, closed Nov 28 for Thanksgiving) $6,400.
Second Half (Tuesday Dec 3 -Monday Dec 23, Set up Monday Dec 2) $12,600.
Full Show (37 days) $20,350  

Additional fees apply for premium placement requests. Double booths are available. Half booth requests must be accompanied by a partner half booth applicant for same dates so as to complete a full booth assignment.

PREMIUM PLACEMENT Fee:  $250 for special requests granted such as corner spaces or specific booth locations.
APPLICATION Fee:  $125 Non-refundable. Due with application. 

All exhibitors wishing to participate must complete the online application and pay a $125 application fee. A jury will review applications, images of products and booth display. Upon notification of acceptance, a deposit of 25% of the space fee will be due.

Application Deadline:   Saturday, July 13, midnight.
Acceptance Response: August 1-7.
Deposit Fee Due: August 14

JALEO : 10% off the total check in the bar only, Monday - Sunday.
OYAMEL : one free taco per person. Excludes Chapulines taco. Can not be combined with Hora Feliz (bar area, 4pm to 6pm M-F)
